KAYAK AT THE POMACANCHIS LAGOON FULL DAY

Sea Kayaks trace their origin to the native boats of Alaska , northern Canada , and Greenland. Eskimos hunters developed a fast going craft to hunt seals and walrus. Moderns sea kayaks come in a wide array of materials and designs. We will provide you with inflatlble double kayaks that are very stable and safe to handel.

Each year more people are introducing themselves and their kids for a shared Adventure and excitement of paddling in a pristine lake ,catching some small fish ,while observing several different species of birds at the crystal clear waters of the Pomachanchis Lagoon one of the four Lagoons , located one an a half hour drive from Cusco, at an area seldom visited by tourist completely off the beaten path.

This one day tour is geared for first time paddlers. Upon arrival to the lake we will provide you with inflatable sea kayaks for two people ,a paddle, a wet suit, a life vest , spray jacket, fishing gear optional and a English speaking professional guide.
No experience is necessary. Afterwards a delicious lunch will be served under the canopy , with table and stools, fresh fruits , vegetables , guacamole and quinua salad , drinking water , cold beers and soft drinks for the kids.

You can combine this trip with another one day trip such as Rafting at the Urubamba river running class III rapids and spending the night at "Cusipata River Lodge" , a comfortable rustic lodge siting at the shores of the river with comfortable double rooms and private baths, communal sauna and a delicious dinner and breakfast included.
