The Cordillera Blanca is the highest mountain range in the Peruvian Andes and the highest tropical Cordillera in the world. The region's relatively easy access, excellent climate and friendly people make it perfect for climbing, and this challenging adventures provides some of the most spectacular opportunities that the Andes have to offer you. For 2000 we have joined the ascent of the popular Alpamayo peak( 5947m) with Huascaran (6768m), Peru's highest mountain.

You'll have the unique occasion to climb two of the most selected peaks in the Cordillera Blanca in just one challenging expedition. We approach the extraordinary pyramid of Alpamayo from the village of Cashapampa, and make our base camp in the Santa Cruz valley. The Santa Cruz valley is perhaps one of the most beautiful valley in the Cordillera Blanca.

Tour program expedition:

Day 1 - 03.07.2015: Flight Poland, Europe ? Lima by ???. Arrival ???. Transfer to hotel.
Day 2 - 04.07.2015: After breakfast ½ day city-tour Lima.
Day 3 - 05.07.2015: Drive Lima ? Huaráz.
Day 4 - 06.07.2015: Acclimatisation in Huaráz, Trekking Laguna Wilcacocha (3725 m) back to Huaráz
Day 5 - 07.07.2015: Acclimatisation in Huaráz, Trekking Laguna Churup (4440 m) back to Huaráz
Day 6 - 08.07.2015: Acclimatisation in Huaráz, Trekking Laguna 69 (4440 m) back to Huaráz
Day 7 - 09.07.2015: Drive to village Santa Cruz/Cashapampa; meeting team and burros, trekking to Laguna Ichicocha (3900 m).
Day 8 - 10.07.2015:Trekking via Laguna Jatuncocha to Alpamayo-Base Camp (4200 m).
Day 9 - 11.07.2015: Base Camp Alpamayo, day for acclimatisation.
Day 10 - 12.07.2015: Base Camp Alpamayo ? Moraine Camp (4900 m).
Day 11 - 13.07.2015: Moraine Camp - Alpamayo High Camp (5600 m).
Day 12 - 14.07.2015: High Camp - Summit Nevado Alpamayo (5947 m) - high camp
Day 13 - 15.07.2015: Day of reserve for Alpamayo + descent ? BC / campo base. Option: summit Nevado Quitaraju (6040 m) + ? BC / campo base.
Day 14 - 16.07.2015: Trekking village Santa Cruz and drive back to Huaráz.
Day 15 - 17.07.2015: Huaraz - Huascarán: drive via Mancos to Musho, Trekking to Base Camp (4250 m).
Day 16 - 18.07.2015: Base Camp, Start climbing Huascarán ? High Campo 1 (5200 m).
Day 17 - 19.07.2015: High Camp 1 - Climb Huascarán - High Camp 2/Garganta (5950 m).
Day 18 - 20.07.2015: High Camp 2/Garganta - Huascarán Sur (6768 m); back to High Camp 2.
Day 19 - 21.07.2015: Descent High Camp II - Base Camp (4250 m)
Day 20 - 22.07.2015: Day of reserve for Huascarán in case of bad weather.
Day 21 - 23.07.2015: Base Camp - Trekking Down to Musho - Drive to Huaráz.
Day 22 - 24.07.2015: Drive Huaráz - Lima.
Day 23 - 25.07.2015: Flight back to Poland Europe by ?
Day 24 - 26.07.2015: Arrival Poland - Europe.
