PERU: Expeditions Vallunaraju (5686 m), Yanapaccha (5450 m), Chopicalqui (6354 m), and the highest mountain Nevado Huascaran Sur (6768 m) - New!!!
The Cordillera Blanca is a chain of snowy mountains located north of Peru, which together with the Cordillera Negra, (west of the Cordillera Blanca) form Huaylas alley through which flows the Rio Santa in the department of Ancash.

Practically: the entire mountain range is protected by the Huascaran National Park, paradise of snowy peaks. It snowed like Huandoy and Huascaran (the highest mountain in Peru), also has 663 glaciers, 269 lakes, including lakes such as rivers LLanganuco and 42 stand, plus 33 archaeological sites.

There are sixteen 6,000 m peaks in the Cordillera Blanca with a 400 m topographic prominence, and a further seventeen peaks over 5,500 m. Huascaran Sur, the highest peak, has two commonly quoted heights - 6,746 m from the Peruvian IGM (Instituto Geográfico Nacional Peruano) map, and 6,768 m from the OEAV - German & Austrian Alpine Club Map (DAV/OeAV) survey map.

Tour program:

Day 1. - 20.07.2015: Flight Berlin, Europe ? Lima. Arrival 22.20 in the evening - Airport transfer - Transfer to Hotel
Day 2. - 21.07.2015: Hotel Lima transfer - bus station in the morning departure from Lima to Huaraz 9.30 am with Cruz del Sur
Day 3. - 22.07.2015: Huaraz ? Trekking to Laguna Churup (4450 m) ? Huaraz Hotel
Day 4. - 23.07.2015: Huaraz - Driving to valley Llaca Vallunaraju - Morrena Camp (5000 m)
Day 5. - 24.07.2015: Morrena Camp - Nevado Vallunaraju Summit (5686 m) - Morrena-camp - Drive to Huaraz
Day 6. - 25.07.2015: Rest day ? optional hot springs of Monterrey or rock climbing in conbination with hot spring of Chancos
Day 7. - 26.07.2015: Huaraz transfer - driving near to Portachuelo Llanganuco (4700 m.) Where we will start our journey about 3 hours until get at (4900 m), Yanapaccha Moraine Camp (5000 m)
Day 8. - 27.07.2015: Moraine Camp - Yanapaccha Summit (5460 m) - Campo Moraine (5000m) - Base Camp Cebollapampa (3850 m)
Day 9. - 28.07.2015: Base Camp Cebollapampa - Base Camp - Chopicalqui (4350 m)
Day 10. - 29.07.2015: Base Camp - Moraine Camp (4860 m)
Day 11. - 30.07.2015: Moraine Camp - High Camp (5300 m)
Day 12. - 31.07.2015: High Camp - Chopicalqui Summit (6354 m) - Base Camp
Day 13. - 01.07.2015: Base Camp - Transfer Huaraz
Day 14. - 02.07.2015: Rest day in Huaraz
Day 15. - 03.07.2015: Huaraz - Huascarán: drive via Mancos to Musho, Trekking to Base Camp (4250 m)
Day 16. - 04.07.2015: Base Camp, Start climbing Huascarán ? High Campo 1 (5200 m)
Day 17. - 05.07.2015: High Camp 1 - Climb Huascarán - High Camp 2/Garganta (5950 m)
Day 18. ? 06.07.2015: High Camp 2/Garganta - Huascarán Sur Summit (6768 m); back to High Camp 2
Day 19. - 07.07.2015: Descent High Camp II - Base Camp (4250 m)
Day 20. - 08.07.2015: Base Camp - Trekking Down to Musho - Drive to Huaraz - Night Bus to Lima
Day 21. - 09.07.2015: Hotel in Lima - Transfer to airport 8.45 am in the morning: Lima, flight back to Germany Berlin ? Europe
Day 22. - 10.07.2015: Arrival to Germany Berlin
