PERU:Trekking Santa Cruz - Urus (5495 m), Ishinca (5530 m) - Chopicalqui (6364 m) and the highest mountain Huascaran Sur (6768 m)
The Cordillera Blanca is the highest mountain range in the Peruvian Andes and the highest tropical Cordillera in the world. The region's relatively easy access, excellent climate and friendly people make it perfect for climbing, and this challenging adventures provides some of the most spectacular opportunities that the Andes have to offer you. For 2000 we have joined the ascent of the popular Alpamayo peak( 5947m) with Huascaran (6768m), Peru's highest mountain.

You'll have the unique occasion to climb two of the most selected peaks in the Cordillera Blanca in just one challenging expedition. We approach the extraordinary pyramid of Alpamayo from the village of Cashapampa, and make our base camp in the Santa Cruz valley. The Santa Cruz valley is perhaps one of the most beautiful valley in the Cordillera Blanca.

Tour program:

Day 1 - 15.07.2015: Flight Berlin, Europe ? Lima. Arrival 22.20 in the evening - Airport transfer - Transfer to Hotel.
Day 2 - 16.07.2015: Hotel Lima transfer - bus station in the morning departure from Lima to Huaraz 9.30 am.
Day 3 - 17.07.2015: Huaraz ? Trekking to Laguna de Ahuac (4500 m).
Day 4 - 18.07.2015: Bus drive to Cashapampa and start for Santa Cruz ? Llanganuco-Trekking: Laguna Ichiccocha and camp Llamacoral (3900 m).
Day 5 - 19.07.2015: Trekking to passing by Alpamayo-BC - Camp Taullipampa (4200 m)
Day 6 - 20.07.2015: Trekking up to Punta Union (4750 m) and descent Quebrada Huaripampa. Camp ca. (3950 m).
Day 7 - 21.07.2015: Trekking to pueblo Colcabamba - Vaqueria; end of trekking. Drive to Portachuelo de Llanganuco valley - Huaraz
Day 8 - 22.07.2015: Huaraz - Collon - Base Camp (4200 m)
Day 9 - 23.07.2015: Base Camp - Urus Summit (5495 m) - Base Camp
Day 10 - 24.07.2015: Base Camp - Ishinca Summit (5530 m) - Base Camp
Day 11 - 25.07.2015: Base Camp - Collon Village ? Drive to Huaraz
Day 12 - 26.07.2015: Rest day in Huaraz.
Day 13 - 27.07.2015: Huaraz ? Bus Drive via Llanganuco - Base Camp of Chopicalqui - Moraine camp (4850 m)
Day 14 - 28.07.2015: Moraine Camp - High camp (5350 m)
Day 15 - 29.07.2015: High Camp ? Chopicalqui Summit (6364 m) - Return to Base Camp
Day 16 - 30.07.2015: Base Camp - Drive to Huaraz
Day 17 - 31.07.2015: Rest day in Huaraz.
Day 18 - 01.08.2015: Huascarán: drive via Mancos to Musho, Trekking to Base Camp (4250 m).
Day 19 - 02.08.2015: Base Camp, Start climbing Huascarán ? High Camp I (5200 m).
Day 20 - 03.08.2015: High Camp 1 - Climb Huascarán ? High CampII/Garganta (5950 m).
Day 21 - 04.08.2015: High Camp II/Garganta - Huascarán Sur (6768 m); back to High Camp II.
Day 22 - 05.08.2015: Descent High Camp II - Base Camp (4250 m)
Day 23 - 06.08.2015: Base Camp - Trekking Down to Musho - Drive to Huaráz, in the evening Night bus 22.00 h. Drive to Lima
Day 24 - 07.08.2015: Transfer to airport 8.45 am in the morning :lima, flight back to Germany Berlin ? Europe.
